StavroX - Analyzing Highly Complex Crosslinking Datasets

StavroX (www.stavrox.com) is a software tool developed by Michael Götze PhD student at the
University of Halle-Wittenberg and member of the DFG funded GRK1591. This
tool provides a platform for the identification of cross linked peptides
from mass spectrometric data. Cross-linking happens with a bifunctional
reagent on a defined protein mixture and is analysed by mass spectrometry
after a proteolytic digestion.

Knowing the used proteins, StavroX can identify possible cross links and
apply the newly developed scoring algorithm to identify possible positions
of cross linking in the analysed proteins.
