We would like to announce the workshop
“IMARIS - analysis and visualization solutions for life science imaging”
The workshop will introduce the IMARIS image analysis software (please find a brochure attached) for complex biological datasets, which is now available at the Core Facility Imaging (CFI), and is addressed to researchers interested in advanced fluorescence microscopy, images processing and quantifications.
The workshop takes place on Wednesday 22nd June 2016 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Seminar room SR-UKK-08/09 (Universitätsklinikum Halle, Ernst-Grube-Str. 40, FG05/06).
It is free of charge, but registration until 4th June 2016 is required via E-mail to cfi(at)medizin.uni-halle.de. Hands-on sessions will be organized by the date of registration and a topic of interest has to be provided. Since there will only be 4 slots available, we will only accept one session consisting of 1-3 people per laboratory.
9:00 “IMARIS - 3D and 4D interactive analysis and visualization solutions for the life sciences”
(Michael Mahlert, Bitplane application specialist)
10:15 “Investigating cell migration in 3 dimensional systems”
(Nadine Bley, Core Facility Imaging, University of Halle)
11:00 – Hands-on sessions (4x 45 min)
14:00 Analyses of own data sets using IMARIS (groups of 1-3 people)
We are looking forward to your participation.
