AG Global Health

Die AG Global Health ist an Gesundheitsverbesserungen weltweit interessiert. Dies bedeutet speziell Wissen über Epidemiologie von Krankheiten verschiedener Nationen, Vergleich zwischen unterschiedlichen geografischen Regionen, Trends im Zeitverlauf und Merkmale von Krankheiten je nach Bevölkerungsgruppen und Ressourcen. Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kollegen aus Afrika ermöglicht Projektumsetzung hauptsächlich in Äthiopien und mit dem African Cancer Registry Network.

Wir sehen große Unterschiede beim Zugang zur Gesundheitsversorgung und Notwendigkeit der Reduzierung von Ungleichheiten in Deutschland - unser Fokus ist die Gesundheitliche Versorgung von Geflüchteten/Migranten in Halle (Saale).

Unser Team besteht aus Epidemiologen, Statistikern, Sozialwissenschaftlern und Ärzten. Wir verbinden klinische Medizin und Grundlagenforschung aus dem Labor bis zur Bevölkerung.
