Nadine studied Biochemistry at the University of Halle. During her Diploma thesis in the lab of Thomas Braun, Medical Faculty of the University of Halle, she worked on the characterization of the mouse-BMP9 gene.

Nadine joined the lab right from the beginning in 2005 for her PhD thesis aiming to characterize the role of IGF2BP1 during cellular stress and thereby identifying novel IGF2BP1 target mRNAs. Since 2008 she is a Postdoc in the lab continuing her work on stress granules and the involvement of IGF2BP1 in signalling pathways implicated in cell migration. Nadine is head of the Core Facility Imaging (CFI).
