Nadine studied Biochemistry at the University of Halle. During her Diploma thesis in the lab of Thomas Braun, Medical Faculty of the University of Halle, she worked on the characterization of the mouse-BMP9 gene. In 2005 she started her PhD thesis in the lab of Stefan Hüttelmaier aiming to characterize the role of IGF2BP1 during cellular stress and thereby identifying novel IGF2BP1 target mRNAs. Since 2008 she is a Postdoc in the Hüttelmaier lab and the head of the Core Facility Imaging (CFI), University Halle.
Currently, Nadine focuses on the role of RNA-binding proteins in directing tumor cell migration, invasion and metastasis.
