INTERDISCIPLINARY VASCULAR ANOMALIES CENTER PATIENTS’ INFORMATION

We are working Monday through Friday, 9.00 a.m. – 16.30 p.m. (time is sometimes liable to change)

 

We offer our assistance with the following issues:

-          arranging an appointment for outpatient consultation or hospital treatment

-          providing treatment cost estimates

-          obtaining a visa (issuing an invitation for a treatment trip)

-          issuing required documents for charities and insurance companies

-          interpreter’s services, assistance in medical document translation (additional fee)

-          route choice and transportation in Halle, hotel choice

-          other issues

 

The inquiry should contain the patient’s name and surname (according to his/her international passport data), birth date and brief medical history (case anamnesis and complaints). Pictures of the problem spots can be attached if necessary.

 

Patients are requested to bring copies or originals of all the available imaging data containing MRI, CT, angiography and x-rays. Due to reasons of computer safety our centre can’t download huge Internet files, so patients are requested to send CT and MRI images on CDs or DVDs via regular mail to the following address:

Patients scheduled for MRI on out-patient basis at our centre are requested to bring blood tests results (taken no longer than 4 weeks ago) containing creatinine and GFR parameters. 

 

Our outpatient clinic provides free Internet access (120 minutes a day, 300 MB): UKH-WLAN-PORTAL network. Our wards have tablets for patients’ use.

 

How to get to the centre:

·         In Halle, city transport: 

1) by Tram 4 or 5 from the central railway/bus terminal until Heide-Universitätsklinikum stop.

    2) by Bus 36 (havag.com) until Heide-Universitätsklinikum stop 

·         By plane

 To Leipzig/Halle airport Take the S5 local train to Halle from the airport (trains go every hour).

 To Berlin-Schönefeld or Berlin-Tegel airports. Take a bus from Berlin to Halle (Flixbus.de from ZOB bus terminal) or a train (Bahn.de).

·         By car 

 A14 motorway, road to Halle / Peißen (or A9 motorway road to Brehna / Bitterfeld / Halle), take the direction to Halle Innenstadt B100 (Berliner Chaussee) through B6 Paracelsus and Volkmannstraße to the circular junction (Riebeckplatz), take B80 Halle-Neustadt / Eisleben road, then go to Gimritzer Damm, to the direction of Heide / Peißnitz , leave the road to Heideallee, follow Heideallee and go as far as  Universitätsklinikum в Kröllwitz.

1)      Paid parking (get parking receipt) along Ernst-Grube-Str. and in the parking garage in front of the main entrance
