Forschungs-Initiative Literacy of NCDs, Global gestartet

Literacy of NCDs research initiative, global started
The Literacy of NCDs, global research initiative is dedicated to improving the ability of people in sub-Saharan Africa to better understand and use health information, such as cancer, diabetes, and hypertension. Literacy of NCDs (Non Communicable Diseases) is more and more an important factor for the health and well-being of people. Improved literacy of NCDs at both the individual and organizational levels can help improve health care and reduce health care costs.
The research initiative will help identify best practices and strategies, develop new approaches in research to improve health literacy, and make health care more accessible to all worldwide.
